Go for a quality, silent with a good air flow.
The Fan is 12V DC 60mm wide.
The mounting screws are 30mm long, so choose fan width accordingly.
Regarding RPM, in my Korg Kronos 2-88 ( 2018 ) , during a stress test, the fan goes max 2636 rpm.
Once installed, test it:
Press and hold switches in the following order to enter TEST MODE:
MIXER KNOBS (and)
RESET CONTROLS (and)
ENTER and 5 (and)
Press ENTER to proceed to the next check (FAN TEST)
In the Fan Test check, Use VALUE (close to MASTER slider) slider to change value from 0 to 128.
In mine, if value =128, rpm = 2636.
To skip internal test, press:
MIXER KNOBS (and)
RESET CONTROLS (and)
ENTER and 2 |

while many did a DIY on whatever fan replacement for Kronos, I think Korg has some exacting fan requirements. If anyone is positive that any decent fan is 100% ok, feel free to correct me.
I am cautious since heat dispersion is so critical for Kronos. For example, we are both in warm weather states.
My thinking is to call your local service for the 3 best replacement fans for your K. And it might make a diff what fan for what Kronos model. Korg made slight changes original K vs todays [ 2015} K2. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8
