Hi.
I'm just wondering about if it's possible to 'transform' the PA4X Oriental version into International (and back) only by use of software, or is it different hardware that need to be replaced as well?

I do not think this is possible.
It has been asked several times before and as yet, I do not remember a way of doing this.
You can of course load styles etc but there are limitations.

Good to know.
Asking because for some reason or another it's more often oriental versions to find at local 'eBay' than international.
I'm thinking about replace the KMA on top of Genos if I happen to stumble over a good offer.

The oriental version has all the same sounds as the international plus more so no need to try and limit it
