|
|
Hey guys, my Rack is the GOTEK version, so I have USB instead of floppy. I downloaded zip files of the various expansions provided, and it seemed to install correctly, however as I go through the presets and combis, a lot of them dont play any sound at all. Does this have to do with the fact that I accidentally overwrote the factory bank? Some sounds play, others have zero sound coming out of them. Someone said on Reddit I still need the actual chips for the expansions. I am hoping that is not the case. |

Hi,
The memory chips need to be installed as they contain the pcm wave data for the expansion sounds. Cheers stuart _________________ Stuart Pryer

Hi,
The data is stored on the chips which arnt user rewritable unfortunately. This way korg can make money selling the expansion cards.
Cheers
