Offering for sale:

Similar to the Ketron SD modules but more and better sounds and more memory. ( 1000 sounds and a Flash memory of 4 Gb !!!)

Comes with adapter, manual and original packaging.
I have added a complete Patchlist of 200 sounds for starters which can be found by simply pressing a button on your recent PA arranger ( under Keyboard Sets) or on your older PA arranger (under Performances)

It goes without saying that this Midi Sound Module can of course be used via computer as well or in conjunction with any other keyboard..

Is there a version of the V3 sound module that works with Korg arrangers? I've heard as much for Korg and Yamaha arrangers. Does this particular V3 module show up on the screen of the Pa series? And how much of it shows up?

Just from reading the review, I'd be hesitant to add more sounds thru it rather than say an iPad. It sounds like things get complicated quickly. That's the biggest problem with Pa series is having to deal with convoluted technicalities in order to have great musical powers. I'm amazed at how beautiful this instrument sounds, the quality of musicianship in the styles, the punichiness of the rhythms and the great players who made up the 4 Variations-

In other words I'm very motivated to be fully expressed with this glorious instrument. But it's a very confusing system, and personally, I'm always looking for user-friendly, there's just way too much tech for me to learn. I have too often spent more time on learning than playing.

There was supposed to be a Korg version but the project was abandonned by the company.
However I picked up where they left and customised the V3 Sonority XXL to be used in conjunction with any Korg PA arranger Keyboard. It took a lot of work but now it is working perfectly. How ?
I have added a selection of favourites sounds from the V3 module ( 200 out of 1000) and programmed them into Keyboard Sets ( PA700/1000/4X) or Performances ( older PA arrangers) so that by simply loading these sets into your user banks you have instant access to these sounds. And what is more you can alter all values if you like: reverb, chorus, filter, adr, etc.etc.
With my current Patchlist JSS you can easily stray into other sounds ( as enumerated in the manual) should you wish to do so.
In other words it has become virtually as easy as to work with Korg internal sounds and easier than the Yammex version for the yamaha keyboards imho.

regards
John
