Dear All, I need help, tips for transfer all from Korg PA3x to Korg PA1000.
I have overwritten some factory styles on my PA3X as well. I have a complete restore-backup of my Korg PA3x which apparently will not work directly on PA1000. I have saved the "Save-All" set of my PA3x as well. I just do not want to start on the wrong foot. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You will need to perform a Save-All with the factory protect OFF - then the factory styles will be saved.
As you say, a full BKP backup will never work.

Be patient and all will be fine - you will have some fine tuning to do - the PA1000 is different.
You will need to selectively load your saved data - just loading the whole saved set will not work.

Plan your PA1000 first - i.e. where and how you want data to be loaded - whether you still want to overwrite factory data etc....

Good luck and have fun

When I transferred the styles from the Pa4x and Pa1000 to my Pa700, I load them into a direct bank to audition, then copy to a user slot. I've yet to transfer the Pa3x styles.

make life easy just download my set.. and you are 98% done...
now you have a pa4x set of styles and the pa4x songbook works fine..
or you can do what I did .. with your pa3x ..
backup all and load them in bank at a time and so on... and you will have a pa3x in side your pa1000... or load my set and you will have a pa4x inside you pa1000 … or do both … have fun … and let us all know how it turn out for you ….

I found it time consuming, but since many of the styles are duplicates. I would save a PA3x factory style in a blank user area. Then one by one do a search and if there is a duplicate, delete the user style. And if not found in pa1000 factory, then save in either unprotected Factory or user area empty slot.
