I am new to this so bear with me but I created a sound from a sine wave and want to save this. Now I know I can do this when saving a pattern but what if I want to use that same sound in a newly created pattern. Can I just save the sound alone? I checked the web but can't see anything on the matter. Thanks for reading, do let me know, |

Yes you can. You’ll have to use copy part (if you want to also use the sequence data) or copy part sound to do this. Use shortcut shift + part 13 for this utility. _________________ www.soundcloud.com/rob-labs |

@roblabs, cheers but I guess this means creating a sound within a pattern and saving the pattern first? As opposed to just creating a sound and adding to the bank of patches. |

Yup, make the sound in a pattern and then save it _________________ www.soundcloud.com/rob-labs |

There's no such thing as separate patch banks on the electribe2.
The unit only saves patterns, with the 16 part patches, events, motion sequence all included.
The E2PAT file format was decoded many moons ago:
