Are there places where I can get TYROS rythms that are already converted for PA700/1000.
Second question: how can I convert TYROS rythms to be used on PA700/PA1000 ? |

If you can export the style parts on the Tyros as midi, then I think you can import them into your Korg. _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |

That was what I planned. For each Tyros rythm, I have to save (2 intros, 4 vars, 3 endings) as MIDI files, total of 9 MIDI files.
I was hoping that many have done some of these works to share with KORG community. |

Also you need to swap the intro and ending 1 and 3 round _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |

Has anyone converted a MIDI file to style for PA700 or PA100?
If yes, pls share your experiences. The user manual is too brief about this!! All said is you will automatically have a new style with 3 intros, 4 variations, 3 endings.
I am very curious to know the exact steps.
Many thanks. |

I finally found this youtube video showing how to convert a MIDI file to style.
It looks very simple and the result is impressive. Hope this helps others.

This video language is not English, but watching the steps and hearing the results is all needed to understand this video.
NO MORE QUESTION on this topic. |

The intros / endings and the wrong way round in yamaha to korg conversions. And there is quite a bit of editing to be done as well before you get something useable. _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |

Here are the results: on PA-700
1) intro 1 is truly what I played manually in this MIDI song
2) var1, var2, var3, var4 are also what expected
3) ending (any) is totally wrong, don't know where it comes from.
4) the resulting style has to be editted to sound good (instruments, volume, etc... I did not have time to do this.
PA-700 almost give me what I like to have.
Side note: I also took this chance to play another MIDI song (also recorded on Tyros3), and sing along with this. Everything seems to be fine until the point where I played a short lead (using guitar sound), this short lead got lost on PA-700.
I guessed the lead track has volume set to 0 or something. |

I think for the best results it’d be best to use some daw software and import the Tyros style converted to midi, then create the the parts using midi markers and import that way. _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |

I have styleworks xt,
When converting a Tyros style to Korg , the drum, percussion and bass tracks are ok but have to be revoiced. The rest of the tracks need work.
Another method would be to convert the style to midi and split the style into individual parts.
Im not sure if it would be possible to import each style track individually into the Korg. _________________ Gem Wk4, Technics Kn5000, Solton Ms60, Yamaha Psr K1, Korg Pa50sd, Tyros 4, Korg Pa700 |
