I don't think I've seen his patches around. I have modified the ones in the zip file and would be glad to share those with you. I was after the Genesis CP-70 sounds from the Duke era. _________________ Korg Kronos 61 (2); Kurzweil PC4; Casio Privia PX-350m; Macbook Pro |

That would be great Bill. If anyone else has any other CP-80 presets I would include them in an updated file.

FYI, I updated the CP-80 library to include a Tony Banks program from BillW. There is a new .KSC and .PCG

These CP-80 samples are fantastic...I'd recommend downloading them (thanks again, Busch!).
I recorded that mp3 demo on a Keystation 88 hooked to the Kronos via USB. The patch you're hearing is "CP-80 Tony 2 Lwr Vel." Very convincing.... _________________ Korg Kronos 61 (2); Kurzweil PC4; Casio Privia PX-350m; Macbook Pro |

Wow, I didn't know it sounded so good! What a contribution! Well done Busch!
The demo is very good Bill, I love Genesis. Too difficult for me thought.
We played Squonk last year, if you ever want the synth sound at the end of the song (u know where the rythm changes) let me know. I wouldn't say I nailed it, but I think it's fairly close.
Cheers! |

I am just preparing a Combi to play Squonk in the version as played by Genesis on the Seconds Out - Album. It's the sound that is clearly audible from minute 5:35
Do you mean this sound? For me it sounds like a strong phasing effect on an organ sound but with soft attack.
I would be thankful if somebody could give me a clue which program(s) and effects you used as a starting point. _________________ Best regards, Robert
