|
|
Hello everyone!
Has anyone had any experience in opening up and repairing these things? Currently I am having a problem with some of the touch pads triggering without me touching them. Sometimes they will blink constantly or not react to contact at all (staying on or off). As you can imagine this makes the device nearly unusable!
Currently I am contemplating opening this bad boy up and giving it a good cleaning (with 99% ipa) & was just wondering if anyone had any experiencing with fixing the touch pads on these before and could give me any tips or ideas?
Thanks a bunch! |

In case anyone was wondering I was able to fix this problem by opening the volca up with a regular screwdriver and cleaning it with some 99% IPA. I also removed a few tiny clear plastic rivets which might have helped contact as well ? Not really sure I just removed them cause I was having trouble putting it back together with them on! |
