Possible bug M1 and Monopoly

Hi, had a quick look but couldn't see if anyone else had this problem...

I'm using ableton 10 on Mac high Sierra and cannot play M1 or Monopoly when adjusting a parameter.

When you click on a parameter it becomes highlighted by a box and all the time this box is showing it stops any computer keyboard input; either notes to play a sound or starting or stopping the sequencer. (probably others but haven't tested exhaustively)

If you click somewhere on the gui the box/highlight goes and normal service is resumed.

Making adjustments is near impossible as you cannot hear while doing so

Please advise.

Eta....ok, so it seems to be ok using a usb midi keyboard. It's just when playing notes on my laptop keyboard this happens.
