|
|
I'm trying to create a combo for a cover song where the top sound uses the arpegiator (from karma mode) and the lower split sounds do not use the arpegiator. I copied the karma from the program sound I created into the combo and it has the arpegiator on all 3 sounds (that are split) how do I disable the arpegiator on the bottom 2 sounds or how do I correctly copy the karma/arpegiator into the combo to only effect the upper track(timbre)
Much appreciated |

go to the Karma tab
it will display 4 modules , A B C and D
determine which module is running your ' ARP ". Its really a GE Pattern
each module has a a key range you can set
from bottom key, C -1 to top C8
if you like the result, save your custom Combi. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I do Combi layers which are not always split.
So i may have several programs layered over the full 88 key range, but want Karma only on one program, or multiple Karma modules separated across multiple programs.
Key range setting or zoning won’t work where all programs share the same key range or zoning.
That is why i use first Karma Midi I/O to separate program Karma modules to different midi channels that won’t be shared between karma modules and the respective assigned programs.
But for multiple programs where each is well separated by key zone splits, it is easier to just zone the keys per Karma Module. |

Thanks Guys. I did adjust key range in the Karma tabs but the whole sound was disappearing - I will try again tonight and also look into the separating of Global channels.
Greatly appreciate the help! |

Try out the Thru/In Zone settings when you do your Module GE key zoning.
If i recall correctly, there is a setting there that makes the sound drop out. |
