Hi everyone, I just bought, and earlier today received my korg wavestate !! First korg synth! Unless counting the G3 I received in the 90s but thats a guitar floor multieffect unit, and not a synth, so i guess no : P
I have been seriously recording music only about the past year and a half [and quite a lot more recently, which involves most of my other synths], and do have a little bit of music out there.
I'm a guitar and piano/synth player, and do have some pretty fun gear and just could not pass up getting a wavestate, since I was able/fortunate enough to - just for the sheer flexibility it has with crossfading, and wave sequencing, made it quite attractive, as well as for its up to 64-note polyphony.
Im hoping to really dive into the smooth sequencing of waveshapes with the wavetables inside it, once I can figure out the architecture. Definitely sounding great right out of the box. I also have an audiothingies micromonsta which I have been playing quite a lot with.
I'm hoping to find other wavestate user patches and share my own as well, once I figure out how to program. Ok, talk again soon! |
