|
|
New forum member, new Pa700 user!
Is there a simple way to a) split the keyboard, B) set a guitar (or other tone) on the upper side of the keyboard, and c) set the piano (or other tone) on the lower side of the keyboard?
I do not want accompaniment, drums, or anything else. Just (in this case) a guitar over a piano.
Seems like this would be simple, but I can't figure it out. And, if I could save that set up as a style, that would be a bonus.
Thanks! |

There are a few ways to do it. You can choose the guitar on upper one and the piano on upper two. Then press shift and ensemble go over 2 or 3 pages to the left and set the key range to create a split point.
Another way to do it is to put the piano on lower and the guitar on upper 1 2 or 3 it really doesn't matter then press split and turn off the chord recognition on both upper and lower. Press shift and memory and turn off memory mode completely so no backing is on.
You can also create a sound that has a built-in split point in sound mode and this way when you turn off split in style play mode or in the sequencer mode or song play mode it always has a split point. Every oscillator can have its own key range _________________ Ari Pearl Music

Another question on similar topic? How can I maintain split settings as I am going from keyboard 1 to 4? Also when I select a different instrument in for say keyboard 1 - how do I get it to stick as move around keyboards 1 to 4. Hope i made sense. |

The split settings (activation and split position), Bass Variation, and a few other things are stored with each Keyboard Set (STS1-STS4). If you want to keep the similar split point, you will need to save the settings on each one. Since you already know how to create a split, just do it for each STS that you want it to be with.
