Hi all
I have managed to partly connect the wavestate to my Mac via USB Into Digital performer.
I can play a sound and have it appear as audio at an audio input. However, what i can't do is sync it up. so if i pay an arpeggio performance on the wavestate it sounds great, if i play it on my mother keyboard its sounds the same but completely ignores the tempo of my DAW. Where do i look to slave the wavestate to the DAW.

Second problem seems to be a common problem on here, i can't get the librarian to work at all. All i get is 'waiting for Device' . I've tried everything but get no further than this whatever i do. I'm on high scierra and restarted it after installing, the wavestate appears in my system report under USB but don't know where to look to find if the HoRNDIS thing installed correctly. To be sure i followed this forums advice and downloaded it separately and tried that but to no avail. Hope you can help with either problem.
many thanks, brolly

Hi all, I've now resolved the sync issue. looking forward to your thoughts on the 'device waiting' aspect.

I had the same problem, you have to download the most recent version of HoRNDIS for mac (google). install it and the lib should see your wavestate. The HoRNDIS version included with the lib does not work with many Macos.

sorry i missed this, it was operator error resolving the sync issue. I didn't realise {as i'm all in the box} that i had to generate midi clock from digital Performer for the wavestate to listen to. I then set wavestate clock to Auto and it all seems fine.

Do you see your wavestate in the list of devices in network (system pref) ?

ok, so , today friday 14th i did this.

Installed Korg librarian 1.01, restarted mac,
tested, ‘waiting for device’
so then i went ; Mac/library/extensions and deleted Horndis. Then installed HoRNDIS 9.2, restarted Mac,
tested ‘waiting for device’

I can see the wavestate is recognised in the system profiler usb bit but does not appear in the network page in system preferences.

so i’m afraid i’m still ‘waiting for device’

I have screen grabs but can't see how to upload them on this forum.

Bloody nightmare ! To start it's a weird decision from Korg to associated the lib with the network........ normaly everything is working thru USB. The HoRNDIS you have install is the same version I have, What OS do you use ? Weird also that no one from Korg is trying to help here ?????? I am using 10.14.6

I did install the 1.0.4 upgrade and at first it was OK the librarian wad connecting to the wavestate. But after shutdown and restarting my mac, there was that stupid 'waiting for device" message. So I had to reinstall the new version of HoRnDIS restart..................So that update did not fixe the USB-network mess. I wonder if Korg does even care about it. It probably work after installation because the HoRNDIS from Korg was not active, but after a restart it did, and there was no connection with the wavestate. Bravo Korg!
