Apple AIFF or FLAC on EK-50?

Hello all,
Korg EK-50 runs libsndfile library, which supports WAV writing and reading (+ Apple / SGI AIFF format and Signed 8/16/24 bit PCM FLAC).
Product website shows Audio Player support WAV, MP3 (MPG123) and MIDI (ALSA-lib).

Is this a problem that the 900 MHz i.MX 6ULL CPU can't do (or memory is low or license for this) and that's why Korg cut off support AIFF/FLAC?
