|

I think this has been discussed before.
When the volume slider on the lower is at its highest and a style is chosen, the volume level is low. When I move the slider the volume level increases.
Am I correct in thinking this is a fault? It doesn't really bother me as I do not perform and just play at home. Any suggestions.
My left handed banjo has just arrived from San Diago having waiting since 14th February
Best wishes

Hi Keith
Hope I am understanding correctly...
When any UPPER/LOWER etc sound is loaded, movement of the relevant slider will immediately jump (up or down) to the slider position.
This is unfortunate for when you want to change a slider (volume) during any performance like:-
You choose a SONG whose LOWER is at 45 vol level BUT your LOWER slider is fully up - the second you move the slider the LOWER volume will jump to that high slider position - very very annoying.
I would love the PA4X to have a LED level indicator for each slider and a slider "catch" option like the Roland Jupiter-80 - it means you will never get sudden jumps up/down when adjusting a slider.
Did I understand you?

Hi Pete
Thank you for your prompt reply. Just an aside ,when do you sleep?
I think you answered my concern, but I will explain fully.
Place the lower slider to the highest position. In factory styles load 70's guitar, then exit.
go back to factory styles and load standard 8 then exit. Lower sound is movie strings 1 and is muted. unmute it. play lower sound and volume is low, touch or move the lower slider a fraction and volume increases and increases further when slider moved to its highest position.
Does this make sense.
It rained today , the first time for ages.
Many thanks

Yes I have written about this before the keyboard pa3X did not have this problem.. If your volume was set at 40% the slider would not take affect until it touched or hit the 40% mark.. Then you could go higher or lower with out that drastic change in volume..Korg could make like the pa3x slider... _________________ The Gold Standard OS 2.2

Ideally, you should have the option to chose either system... |
