Yesterday I was playing with my Octatrack and Volca Sample together (Using Midi Sync) when all of a sudden I had no output from my Volca. I was unsure if I had Muted every track or hit Solo by accident. Is there any chance that I would have hit some sort of secret button combination that just makes me want to throw this thing against the wall?

All jokes aside the only Parts that plays any audio is Part 9 and 10.
I've tried setting my Amp Attack to 0 and Decay to 127 on every part with no success. I do love this thing, I just cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happening.

ALSO I already restored all the samples with the factory set and updated my firmware the the latest release.

Anyone?

It's an odd day whenever your volca seems more confusing than your octatrack.

So I was going thru my patterns and found one that every part was working. Then copied that pattern over to ever Part. Fugg-it.

I don't know what was wrong but for now this worked.

Strange things happening to mine too.
Parts just dissappear. Tried everything but no go:(

Is octatrack confusing volca sample and erases parts?

I dont get it.

Anyone?

Sounds like its sending a midi message -on CC7 or 11, reducing volume to zero for the parts - maybe.Try sending out those messages at 127 (full).

Hello guys, my first post here Smile

Something similar have happened to me today, i plugged the midi cable and my snare just disappeared. The pattern run as before, but without a snare and i found that it changed its amp envelope somehow

Hey there remember that the Octatrack sends midi cc from its audio channels simultaneously so maybe try turning that function off in the settings.
I've had some strange behaviour with other boxes hooked up to the mighty OT and it's usually been the audio channels.
