|
|
Hello. This is my first post on this forum though I've found a lot of use in several other threads. Hoping someone can give me some tips or had a similar experience.
Just today, after some "creative" patching, my ms20 mini started triggering twice for every key press. A quick successive double, like a flam somewhere around a 64th note. It happens when playing the keyboard, receiving midi, or using the trigger in from an external source. The trigger out seems to have the same double trigger in each of these conditions.
Both osc 1 and 2 are affected as well as the filters. What's odd is that I remember the synth producing little to no sound when the eg2 was set with all controls at 0 but now it's a distinct tone, long enough to be able to hear the pitch of the note.
I thought maybe a wildly incorrect voltage might have shorted the diodes at the trigger input but they all tested out ok. Is it possible that the ics involved in the eg could be feeding back or bleeding somehow?
I was considering disconnecting the eg2 from the vca and using eg1 to control the amp in order to isolate it, but I thought I'd check here before I started modding for repairs.
Here's hoping someone has had a similar issue. Thanks for lending me your brain power. |
