It's been a while since I've posted here, so hello again.
Is it possible to get glissandi on strings and horns? I did a search here and couldn't find an answer.
If this is a beaten to death topic and you can give me a link, I'd appreciate it.
Stay safe! |

Look in the edit page for P-Pitch, where it should be possible to find a checkbox to enable Portamento, together with options. If Fingered is also checked, playing legato will turn on portamento, whilst playing detached will turn it off. Time or Rate modes offer the choice of the pitch changing in a set time, or at a given rate per octave.
Several Programs will already have Portamento enabled by one of the switches SW1 or SW2 above the pitch bend and modulation wheels. The menu for enabling this function can be found on the P-Input /Ctrl Controllers page, where Panel Switch Assign can be set to Porta SW (CC#65).

If you're looking to implement a single-keypress glissando that plays a series of increasing or decreasing notes like a glissando played on a piano, then a user-defined arpeggio may be a good option, assuming the arpeggiator can play the notes fast enough. _________________ bpoodoo
