|
|
I am trying to create a MS with some edited samples that require a reverse of the sample on certain key assignments. I can get to, in Sampling Mode, where I can edit and hear the desired effect using the Loop Edit tab for the sample, complete with reverse and edited start and end time changes. But when I save the MS and program conversion, turn off the Kronos and back on again, all of the edits are gone. I get a pure unadulterated not reversed or clipped sample on the assigned key.
I'm saving MS data as Sampling Mode Data + All Multisamples. Why am I losing this information in the save and reboot? |

Once you’ve saved the sampling data, have you converted the MS to a Program? |

I would try doing a ‘Save All’ and see if that works. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |

Hi there,
It's been awhile since I did this, but I seem to remember that you have to first rename the multi sample or else you will have the problem you describe. Or, you might have to save the sample to the next available Multisample slot. Most likely one of those two. Maybe both.
Choose the Sampling button and highlight at the very top of the page where it says “000: NewMS” and choose the next available Multisample slot. The “create new multisample” box will pop up. Highlight the stereo button if you have a stereo sample and then choose OK. If your sample is mono then do not check the stereo box. Note that you can “rename” the multi sample by going to the “recording” function on the top/right and choosing “rename ms”.
I put together a tutorial that covers "Working With Samples". It was written awhile ago, so some of the options might be in different places with Kronos V3 OS, but hopefully it's relevant to what you're doing. Good Luck!

Also, not a good idea to save all. That will just give you a giant KSC file which contains everything in Kronos. When you try and load, it will take forever. Instead:
Choose Disk – Select Save
Select “Save Sampling Data”
Name your file.
Choose OK
