can someone help with bounce to track

first off, when ive recorded a song and bounce to track to internal, then copy that WAV file to flashdrive, everythings fine. However, when i bounce to track directly to my flash drive, theres a part in the song that ends up skipping like 2 to 4 measures. theres some kind of error everything i do that no matter what song i do. Does anyone know why this error is occurring when i bounce directly to the flashdrive instead of internal? thanx
