|
Was thinking about selling my Wavestate, It's a good synth but much to complicated to edit, got tired of turning knobs..... my value knob is giving me problem, sometime I turn it but nothing happens, got to wait a while and then it's OK........ I find it hard to use it with other in instrument Guitare piano bass.....it's really a atmosphere synth, game...... there's not enough drum patches, loops........So I wanted to go on Kijiji to sell but for the last 2 months there's always one or two for sale for 850 to 900$ CAN( I am from the Montréal region) Is it the same in other regions ??? You can buy a new one for 1150.00$ (taxes included) It's early in time to loose +/- 30% of the value ! It's not a synth for most musicians. It's seems like the peoples who edit patches are trying to create very sophisticated patches with 4 layers and lanes ............ but most of them are ''unplayable'' in a song. Well the more I write and the more I realize that the wavestate is not for me. ''pity'' |

" got tired of turning knobs."
..hmmm, the very reason I get hardware synths is to have knobs to turn.
Yes, long winding swirling sounds etc is not for every piece of music.
It will be perfect for my timelapses though.
I've seen a couple for sale here locally too, but not many yet.
Have fun with whatever you get next instead. _________________ MIDI gear: Sequential REV2.16, Prologue-8, Hammond XK-3C, Kawai MP7SE piano, Nord Lead 2X, Roland D-05 |

As far as the knobs are concern, you buy hardware to have the controls at hand, I agree, but to edit or create patches...... it's a pain ........ |
