Audio in not working. Audio input is showing via LED, but no sound: either with Global Audio in Thru turned on, through the vocodor, or through the filter -- no sound from the external audio (or mic).
Synth works fine otherwise. . .
Tried a global reset to factory. Nothing.
HELP ! !

Hi,
Do both inputs (Audio In 1 and 2) suffer from this issue in the Audio in Thru mode?
The fact that the led goes on indicates that the analog signal chain is at least ok till the ADC. From then on it becomes difficult to say...
It is very unlikely according to me that factory reset would have solved it. That would mean a software problem. I suspect rather a hardware problem...

Thanks -- yes, LEDs on both inputs. I agree with you. It seems like something is broken after the input, although it is weird that the audio thru doesn't work. I guess the circuit is INPUT > LED > THRU SWITCH and the break is right there. . .

Well, it is a bit more complex
Input -> amplifier - ADC - DSP - DAC - amplifier
The led is tapped somewhere in between amplifier - ADC.
The audio thru switch is a software loopback. Note that the ADC and DAC are housed in the same chip.
If you are familiar with electronics and have the right equipment you can open it up.
But it sounds like something broken, not sure it will be possible to repair it. _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
