a 5 + year research to set up mobile low (winter) solar power recording, nearly falling for a Zoom (500mA ) or that korge D1200 @ 18 watts most being the dv drive tho,, with midi ,,thinking ,um ,I can record M1 sound & midi files. Leaving the DAWs to evolve ,I spent all my savings on a Surface i7 (as good as it gets by the way) @ 300 -340 mA on start screen ,as far as I think ,there is absolutely no other reason to by a Surface, Following DAW development ,the zoom L 12 is rekoned , so studying again ,still no midi .,So been looking on e-bay for D 1200 and get another 100 watt solar,,On studying the manual ,puzzeled by the midi ports only to discover the midi is only to STAND-ALOAN and recording automation,,,ah ah .NOTE all these years I have drafted plans for my " IDEAL DAW " overview is 3 or 4 family machines 1/ is based on a chunky mid sized laptop ,no keyboard ,, 12 ch ,12 sim. 24 playback 4 camera input for bands 4 life . others ,, 6ch. 6 sim. 12 playback 2 cameras (small laptop) and um,, cheep 6 ch 3 sim. (I can not upload drawinds um,,) +++ research so now I no,,
we plug DAW to computer for 1/ LARGE EASY READ SCREEN VIEWS 2/ SO THE SOFTWARE AND COMPUTER CAN RECORD AUTOMATION
THE Y Surly DAWS could have sequencers & a larger screen with SLIGHTLY more powerful software TRUE STAND ALONE Jon still trying ,.[/u][/i][/b]
