Uh Oh! I'm having rhe same problem:
"USB POWER EXCEEDED!!" message when I plug my
SANDISK USB 2.0/3.0 compatible 16GB CRUZER GLIDE USB Flash Drive
into the back of my OASYS. (no other USB drives are plugged in, and there has never been a problem before using USB drives) ---
Can ANYONE HELP? _________________ Doc Fingers:

There are 2 things you can try.
Use a much smaller capacity USB stick (remember, when the Oasys first came out a 1GB stick was a luxury)
Plug a powered USB hub into the Oasys and then plug your 16GB into that.
I hope one of those ideas works for you. _________________ Korg Oasys-76, Akai DPS-24, Headrush Looperboard, Sandberg California Bass, Line-6 HX Stomp. |

I had no luck with usb power exceeded.. until I formated the usb and it recognizes it but then when I wanna copy something or save pcg on it it writes: error in writting to medium.
3 usb sticks all same error.. I formated usb's on pc, on Oasys..nothing..
Any suggestion or advise? _________________ Korg Kronos 2 73, Korg Triton Extreme 61, Korg Trinity, Roland D-50, Yamaha DX7 IIFD, Korg T2EX |

I am having same problem. I figured it was because of 3.0. So I tried a powered USB hub. It is a 3.0 hub but it caused the same message. Has anybody tried this with a powered usb 2.0 hub? |
