|

HI, I've just got a Korg Kronos 88. Just playing the first piano sound yesterday , 000 Berlin Grand, and as I was playing the volume dropped by itself by quite a bit mid song. I turned the workstation off and restarted it and the problem didn't occur again over the next hour or so. Unfortunately I've just started again and the problem has occurred again. It's a bit worrying. Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice as to what it could be ? Could it be any way related to the damper pedal maybe? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks |

Is the Master volume slider at the top of its travel? If not, a bit of electrical "noise" can trigger the control's position-sensing algorithm into thinking the slider has been moved, and drop the volume accordingly. This also applies to sliders 1 (and also 2, if two oscillators are used) when the control surface is in Timbre/Track mode. The electrical noise could come from e.g. a mobile phone placed close to the keyboard, or a heavy current device like aircon switching on or off, or a welding set, being used nearby.
