|
|
Hey
Is there a simple way to send a midi chord progression from Logic X to PA700 to play in style/set mode? I wanted to write the midi in logic and send it to the PA700 to be played in style mode.
hope that I made my self clear.
Thanks |

If you take a look at the manual, pages 856-860, it should help you out a bit.

Create the MIDI file.
Put it on your Korg formatted USB memory stick.
Use the Style creator Bot in your 700 to convert your MIDI file into a Korg file.
Or
Just play the MIDI file _________________ Biggles

If you wanna use DAW to control Korg Chord progression you need meet some rules.
1. DAW and Korg must be Clock Sync.
a. Set Korg to receive external clock from DAW.
or
b. Set Korg to send MIDI Clock and on DAW set to use external.
works either way.
2. on Korg set channel# in MIDI IN to global and same channel# on DAW to output your chords.
sending to Lower will not effect chord progression, only Lower Voice
Global is like copy of entire keyboard.
3. Make sure notes sending are in range chord scanner on Korg.
If you use split, must be in Lower range.
