Hi Everyone. Thank you for allowing me to join your forum. I am new to the PA2X Pro and I LOVE IT! I’m making my way through the manual but I cannot find a solution for my problem. When I edit a sound in Sound mode, and make it mono, it becomes poly when used in Style mode. I for sure could just play it for sound mode but I need the layering and the vocal harmonizer’s chord recognition that are only avail in style or song mode. Can anyone help? Thank you. Smile

Brian - Omaha, Nebraska, USA

PS. I did spend the first week finding and then replacing dead LEDs. That was a fun project for sure.

Hello Brian,
welcome in the forum.

In Voice-Assign-Mode poly/mono in Sound-Editor only is for editing and for allowing to edit further parameters of the sound that depend on this Voice Assign Mode (Single Trigger for Poly, Legato for Mono, Priority for Mono ...).

Mono means the sound will play monophonically, producing only one note at a time; Poly means the Sound will play polyphonically, allowing to play chords.

In Play-Mode and Style-Mode per default each Track per default is set to "Poly" - if you want to use a tracks sound "Mono" set this track to Mono, Mono-L or Mono-R and save the performance or style with this setting.
