I'd love a step by step about "how to do it"

Sam. How do we record vocals at the same time we are recording music through the sequencer to include the harmonizer. By the way we are trying to put all of this on a flash drive to be used later to accompany a guitar player? We have looked and done everything we can find in the book but can't seem to figure this out. Simple steps would be helpful. Your help will certainly be appreciated.

I'm so sorry Chuck. I did not see your post till just now. Unfortunately I've never recorded vocals. In fact I don't even think that's possible within the sequencer mode as there are NO audio tracks available. All tracks are MIDI. Again my apologies for the delay in responding.

Hi Chuck
Have you considered recording audio?
Not sure what you are wanting though.

Do you want a backing track for future or just a one-off recording with vocals.
Is MIDI important? Or is audio OK (MP3 etc...)

I record many times with audio straight onto MP3 (in PA4x) or in a sequencer on my PC - a good free one is Audacity.

Cheers
