FOr those of us who like to program our sounds, using the MS20EX engine, this is a link that may help. It's about the MS20 but I'm quite sure you can apply these ideas to your MS20EX in your Kronos too.
Have fun!

It is usefull with real MS-20 as it is a monophonic synth but the MS-20ex has 40 voices polyphony. So, I must admit I don't figure out what could be the real interest of this tuto ? |

There are several in the series. I just thought it would be helpful for those who are a little intimidated by all the patch points and things.
I never actually thought about the polyphony. My mistake! _________________ If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!

You're right. It could be interresting to set one MS20ex program in mono and try to reproduce this tip. It could be a good way to learn the MS-20ex engine. |

I liked the Thunder and Rain tutorial.
I also have 2 standard tricks to thicken up the MS20:
Polyphonic Unison set to 2 voices, no detune.
Stereo Tube Sim on TFX1, mix max preset.
That makes it punchier and present. |
