I'm looking at both, and I'd like to know if you can use a librarian VST etc to run either synth as multi-out. Or if you can only do so with one channel? |

Hi,
Not sure what you mean by a multi-out.

Send midi from the DAW to the synth, playing multiple midi channels at once with different patches. |

Hi,
No that is not possible. The mK(S) support only one patch at once, having 4 voices of polyphony listening to the same MIDI channel.
The mkXL(+) support a multi mode, which is a patch with 2 timbres and each timbre can be triggered by a separate MIDI channel. But in total limited to 8 voices polyphony.
