Hi,
got an Havian 30 around 4 years ago.
It started to behave strange recently while activating Joystick Y, that is normally used for modulation.
Some sounds are modified when activating Joystick Y and after bridging back the joystick to the middle position the sounds are kept modified.
For example, sound 'Jazz Gtr RX' is changed as if the pitch bend was activated up and down each time any keyboard key is pressed.
Another example is sound 'Tenor Sax RX' that starts normally but is replaced by "white noise" 2 seconds after any keyboard key being pressed.
Other examples of affected sounds are:
"Crunch Gtr RX"
"Jazz Trumpet RX"
'Alto Sax RX1'
"Jazz Cornet RX"
"Trombone RX"
"Clarinet RX"
"Flute RX"
"Harmonica RX"
If the Joystick Y is activate up or down all affected sounds will be modified.
Pressing the panel keys SHIFT + START/STOP (panic function) brings back the sound to normal, but also changes other settings like sound volumes for styles sounds.
Would this issue be caused by some kind of internal MIDI messages sent while activating the joystick, once the panel keys SHIFT + START/STOP clears the issue?
Or would this be caused by some kind of setting for the RX Sounds?
I've reset all setting, including reinstalling the latest OS, but the issue remains.
Did anybody face an issue like this or know if there a is solution for the problem.
Thank you very much for you attention. |
