Hi !
I have a used Triton Taktile 25 that I got a few days ago....
my midi controller works fine with all my softsynths and hardware synths...
But: I'm having no luck with my Triton Taktile...
the owners manual says that the 5 pin DIN on the unit is Midi IN....
... I saw somewhere else (not Korg) that it's midi Out...
anyway, having no luck getting a Nektar controller to remotely 'play' the Triton Taktile (local control is off)...
Be gentle... I'm a guitar player.. .haha |

I can’t comment much on the Taktile, not owning one and all, but I can say this is a pretty friendly, flame-free community. We’re all beginners at one point or another! _________________ Current Equipment:

I took a look at the Taktile Manual - wow, what a useless document! It's very unclear whether that single MIDI port is MIDI In (from external device), or whether it's a MIDI Out and you are supposed to connect it to the MIDI In of external devices.
I would suggest trying it that way (as a MIDI Out). Try to play some other external gear from the Taktile using the MIDI Port and see if it works. It would logically seem that if it was only going to have one MIDI Port, it would be an OUT.
But in general, it appears you should be using the USB port and the Korg USB MIDI driver to send and receive MIDI to the unit. Through a computer.
Secondly, welcome to the forums but note that your post is not "Latest News", but a question that belongs in probably the "Korg Controllers" section, which it seems is where most of the Taktile questions are located:

I took another look at the (as Stephen us, poorly written) manual, and it looks like the MIDI port is an output only. This is mentioned in the specs at the back of the manual. This is also pretty typical for keyboards like this that are intended to be controllers, more than dedictated sound sources. So you can control the Taktile via USB MIDI, or use the MIDI out to control other devices. _________________ Current Equipment:
