Hello,

There doesn't appear to be a master cc listed for Minilogue xd in the manual, unless I've missed it. Edit: the first question being, is there a master volume cc?

If that's the case, has anybody made a 'master volume' user fx? Thanks!

Master volume is MIDI CC #7, standard for most synths and recognized by the XD (receive only).

Hi all,

Random question on this topic. Let's say I use an external controller and modify midi cc 7 to 0. So, no more volume. How do I reset that or get volume again on the actual XD without sending it another midi cc 7 event? If I play with the master volume knob after setting midi cc7 to 0, it has no response. This seems dangerous I can't then get the volume back.

Any way to "reset" midi ccs just from the XD and not rely on an external controller to send an updated midi cc 7?

Thanks!

Hi. Anyone figure out the answer here? What does cc7 actually do on the XD? If I change it to 0, moving the master volume knob doesn’t reset it…

I have no solution… but to get the volume back, would it work to turn the volume knob all the way up an denn send cc7 = 127?

yes, it works to send a cc7=127 no matter what, but for my setup that’s not always possible. so was wondering if there was a way to do that from the Minilogue itself Smile
