Interesting board. Love the design and appearance. I wonder if it is significant advancement from the current Vox Continental. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

|

I've been waiting for news for a possible 20th Anniversary edition of the Microkorg, but I decided to go ahead and buy a used one instead. The 20th Anniv. edition, if there is one, will probably come down to a new color scheme. And will be wildly expensive, given today's chip costs and supply chain problems. So I'm happy to say that my OLD microkorg will arrive on Tuesday. I can't wait to start playing that beast.

Isn’t it just the same but in a different color? _________________ Korg Kronos 2/88 , Genos, Mainstage3 +VSTsu, ipad pro, GSi Gemini, Roland Integra 7, Jupiter Xm, Yamaha motif XS rack, Ketron SD90.

got my MicroKorg today--what a gem! I have yet to find out how old it is. Still wondering what the 20th Anniv. edition will look like. |

I honestly don't know. I have yet to see in-depth specs and Utube examinations. I guess we shall have to wait and see. I do like the new color. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

Looks like Korg is going to release those synths in 2022 that they promised in 2021 but never delivered. Some professional arranger workstations. That's about it. |

Korg is on the list for a virtual booth @Believe in Music, formerly the Winter NAMM show. Let's see what they come up with. |

Thats good news
Tonight 21:15 Amsterdam/paris time there is a gearpreview at gear that was supposed to be presented at Namm 2022..

If Korg is part of that?
An answer might actually be very close

So, takehome from the NAMM 2022 Sneak Gear Peek session:
There's vintage Rich Formidoni - but covering the Casio product
Nothing from Korg!
Ended with a plug for the FarPlay "zero" latency internet collab app.

To be fair, that's a pretty nice-looking thing from Casio, and not at all what I'd expected. |

A new Kronos or Nautilus module would be good. I am not interested in a keyboard without aftertouch. _________________ Cheers

Nano pad 2 with usb-c connection, the older type USB connection cables are hard to find and if you find one it's way too expensive. And there are no adapters available. _________________ In honor of the Groove and to all whom surrender to it, We say Thank You. And we take it Back.

Korg Krome is 10 years old this year, I know they released the EX but it wasn't a massive change.
How about a replacement fro the Krome which has user sample memory and a version of the Nautilus I/O.
Kurzweil have PC4 - 2Gb User memory
Yamaha MODX - 1Gb user memory
Even the new Fantom 0 has 256mb (not massive i know)
I've had my Kronos 11 years now and it's still going strong.
Anyone heard any rumours of a Krome replacement? _________________ Current Arsenal:

The argument could be made that Nautilus was intended to replace all of the K workstations (Kronos, Krome, Kross), and as such could be considered a downgrade or an upgrade, depending on what you own now. _________________ bpoodoo
