This is valid for the last 3 korgs : Modwave, Wavestate and Opsix.
It would be so nice to be informed that the synth is receiving midi from its USB and/or its midi DIN.
There are so many buttons that could be used for this usage, I am sure there is a software solution to set up this really important indicator.
My external controller is sending several CC or pictbend but none of my Korgs is reporting reception. I am so used to see my Waldorfs, Elektrons and external effect report it that I am always feelin there is a problem in the Korgs

I've had a few synths so far, and I can only recall one of them having such a feature: the Moog Sub 37. All the others don't have any visual indication when any MIDI arrives at the IN port. |

All my Waldorf and Elektron have it, and my past Novations.
I must add that out of the pure synth area : my audio interfaces blink, my midi guitar effect pedals also, etc. |
