I have one key that plays louder than the rest even with a light touch. Any ideas.

Cleaning the key contacts might help.

Do you think you could've hit this very key somewhat harder than it could stand somewhen back?

Or rather, could it've been subjected to excessive amount of dust?

I know my reply is awfully late. I had this happen to me several years ago. All it needed was a good internal cleaning. Not something you want to attempt to do yourself as dis-assembling the keyboard is difficult and complex. Leave it to an authorized service tech.
