|
|
Hi. Just bought a new Kronos 61 Titanium to replace my 2015 V2 61 model. I "save all" from the old unit and then try to load everything into the new one. I get an error message that says (in red)
"KSC is incomplete due to uninstalled EXs:??0,??0,??0,??0".
I'm confused because each board has the EX17 and EX18 installed (with the TI also having the Italian Piano EX of course). Can anyone shed some light on what's up here? Thx.[/img] |

I had a similar problem a while back too, trying to duplicate two Ks. I think that my problem was that some of the boxes in Global Auto Load were not checked to load on start up. Try locating the missing EXs, and load them manually. If you get everything looking normal again, and you’re not seeing red in your Combis, do a save to disk before you turn it off.
Oh, one more thing….if you get everything looking normal again, be sure and save your Global settings too from the drop down menu in Global mode. Write Global Settings _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |

The Korg Titanium has an additional Italian Grand, which may be taking up RAM needed to stream your other EXs libraries. You could go to GLOBAL -- KSC AUTOLOAD and uncheck it, the try loading again. Also, make sure that all your EXs settings are set to "Virtual," instead of RAM. |

Thanks guys. I manually copied and pasted all the remaining files from my old to the Ti and all my old programs/combis/setlists/songs seem to be working.... however I think I screwed up.
When I loaded my initial backed up files into the new board, using the jump drive that I had to back up the old board by "Save all", I then loaded all those files into the new Ti. It looks like that over wrote everything... I don't have the Italian Grand in my programs now and there is no Italian Grand EX in the "auto load" screen, and my "Factory" file does not show the Italian Grand either. Weird thing is that I don't see the Italian Grand in the "Factory" folder that came on the disks that came with the new keyboard either. Do I need to do a full reset and start over some how? Good times.. |

Sounds like you’re almost back in business. I don’t know anything about the Italian Grand, if you can’t see it in the factory folder, that’s concerning. I know you’re anxious to get your issue resolved, but I wouldn’t be in a big rush right now. I would wait and see if others will see your post and offer their ideas. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |

Looks like I figured it out. Found the Italian Grands in U-GG bank. Then loaded the Preload set list again and it appears to all be there (new stuff) along with my existing stuff. Did have to add back auto preload items. Thank you for the input! |

Fantastic! I’m glad you got it figured out. If Google is correct, the Italian Grand should be EXs 21. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |
