Back on the forum!
Have had an account here for a few years but haven't been very active. Just acquired a Kronos 2 73-key via Reverb, and am very thrilled to transition from a TEX88 to a K273. Less weight, bigger screen, better sound engines! And, in better pre-owned condition than the TEX88 (TEX had seen some battles before I bought it, apparently - how do you put a DENT in the bottom front frame of the keyboard?).
Already programmed some of my TEX88 Combis (using K273's programs, since there's little to no 1-to-1 relationship with the TEX & K2's programs) and built my first Set List. huzzah! Yay me! _________________ TEX-88

Thanks!
While it does feel somewhat "familiar", the Kronos is already proving to be a different beast altogether. _________________ TEX-88

The HD-1 engine is very similar to the Triton Extreme's, the other engines are definitely different.

BEAST is the term I would use... I think the KRONOS can do anything. _________________ Dave Kalbach
