Hi all!
I am struggling with the virtual pads triggered from an external controller and hopefully you can point me in the right direction.
For testing purposes I use program IA000 berlin grand which has several jazzy chords assigned to the pads.
In global/midi/external I assigned cc#110 to cc#117 or c1 to g1
When sending CC messages nothing happens.
Sending note messages plays the sound but never trigger pads.
My midi monitor shows me the correct midi messages and the blinking hardware leds indicate a message flow from in to out where kronos is connected, other messages like sysex work properly too, so it’s definitely not a connection or routing issue.
I played with global/midi/midi filter with no effect.
I tried common/karma/midi filter, no effect
Any idea how to track down this issue is appreciated
Many thanks

The Global / MIDI / External Pads setting is for note / CC# messages that are sent out from the Kronos when the Pads are played on the Kronos.
To set up the Kronos Pads for play by an external keyboard controller, go to Global / Controllers/Scales / Controllers tab, in the section: MIDI CC# Assign - Vector Joystick / Pads.
