Hi I agree, from those style demos I will not be rushing out to buy the PA5x. I do hope there are new styles for ballads & the old standards.
I am still reserving judgement until I have seen & heard more.

Yeah - me too Tony - hope to get my hands on one in a few weeks time.... _________________ PA4X-76, Karma, WaveDrum GE, Fantom 8 EX

Given the sheer number of styles on this board, I'm sure there's plenty of new styles to chew on. A handful of demo's can't possibly address everyone's interests and, anyway, one of the beauties of owning a Korg is you just know there'll be a bunch of new styles to download for free along the way. That's always been a strong point. Happy playing. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

The 2 links above to the demos seem to be typical of a retailer who has not experienced a Korg arranger before - hence his excitement.
I played those styles on my PA4x along with the video demos - identical and still great but let's see some of the newness please.
Korg's on-line manual has never been exciting and merely a quick start for brand new arranger owners.
I wish Korg's marketing team would for once produce a great demo showing the newer features of the PA5x. There will be so many PA owners wanting to see this.
However, they've never done it in the past.
Peter Baartmans did this for the Tyros 5 - almost went straight out to buy one!!
The best marketing video demo Korg ever produced was on the i2 - even featured a live performance by Stephen Kay in Japan!!!
Take it easy

A bit more general.... So far Luke Edwards official demonstrator for KORG UK has been by far the best demo for me in the webinar provided below... I would also imagine there will be many more webinars for PA5X from the team at KORG UK... one to keep an eye on.
Yup, a new webinar scheduled for 5 pm (UK time) today, July 7, from the dynamic duo. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Because Australia is on a different planet, can one replay these webinars?
Thanks

I see no reason why not if you register and sign in...? Have you tried to watch the first one from KORG UK with the PA5X? Pete - Their last one was available on Youtube shortly thereafter. Either they or someone else uploaded it. I'll see if I can find a link after the event and post it here. _________________ Dave Kalbach

I recommend copy/past into YouTube search bar the link above for HD video and best sound quality. _________________ Korg PA5X-76 : Yamaha Montage M8x : Roland Jupiter 80 : Waldorf STVC : Roland Integra 7 : Waldorf Streichfett : Focal Trio6 ST6 : Studio Outboards/RME Audio Interface/A&H Mixer :
