I am beginning to explore the 'Effects' options on the EK-50.

In a post on this Forum in March 2021, MarekBujko said:
You can send 2 FX to Layers (Lower/Up1,2,3) only.

And the manual itself says:
“Default” indicates the optimum effect that is set for the keyboard set by default.[/i]

My impression to date is that generally the 'default' options are well-chosen. But it does seem to me it would be useful (if it were possible) to positively identity what the default choices for any given program/sound/voice are.
Is there any way of doing this ?

So, for instance, program/sound/voice 497 Sine Switch seems to have a sort of phaser working, which for some purposes I'd like to get rid of.
If I look at the effects, it simply says 'Default'.
If I reset 1 and 2 to something relatively innocuous, e.g. 088 small Hall reverb, it doesn't remove the phaser effect, or not entirely. Maybe in this case the 'effect' is actually part of the program/sound/voice ?

Which brings me back to to the 'send 2 FX' comment above.
Is it possible to send two effects simultaneously, or is there just the Option 1/ Option 2 alternation ?

Many thanks for any clarifications.....

Ian Graham
