I heard back from Korg re MIDI CC's for Mute and Solo on the Electribe Sampler
:
"All the MIDI commands and the CC#'s are found in the MIDI Implementation Chart.
Unfortunately, there is no CC# for mute and solo in the Electribe Sample."

After I dry my tears, I hope to post back here (since this is the Nano thread) with some MIDI controller alternatives to the Nanokontrol2, which has its limitations.

For a couple: Fader and knob caps that fall off and can't easily be replaced as Korg has no replacement parts for them; and no improvements to the product in ten years (nearly 15 years since the first Nanokontrol) aside from a new color scheme: https://www.korg.com/us/products/computergear/nano2_color/
