I've got a song I made in the sequencer.
I added a TFX to it which sounds great and fitting over the entire song...
Except the Drums!

The drums are ruined. Is there a way to bypass tracks in my sequencer from being effected by the TFX so that just the rest of the song is going through the TFX and the that drum track I recorded is unaffected by the TFX I'm using?

Eh?

Identify which Timbres the drum track(s) are using and, on the IFX tab, Routing1 page, set the Send1(MFX1) and Send2(MFX2) values to 0 for those Timbres.

Route the drums via the auxiliary outputs, with IFX if necessary.

Yes, You just have to go to 8-5 Insert FX. You will have to use on of the Aux Audio ouputs trough the Bus Select :

Quote:
Bus Sel. (Bus Select) [L/R, 1…4, 1/2…3/4, Off]
Specifies the bus to which the signal will be sent
immediately after the insert effect.
L/R: The signal will be sent to the L/R bus, which passes
through TFX 1 and 2 and then goes to the main L/R outputs.
This is the default setting.
1…4: The signal will be sent, in mono, to the selected
individual output.
1/2, 3/4: The signal will be panned by the Pan (CC#Cool
setting, and sent in stereo to the selected pair of audio
outputs.
Off: The signal will not be sent directly to the outputs. This
setting is useful if you want to:
• Use Send 1 or 2 to route the signal entirely through the
master effects, without sending the dry signal to the
outputs.
• Use the FX Control Bus to route the signal to an effects
side-chain, such as a gate or vocoder, without being
heard directly at the outputs.
• Use the REC Bus to record the signal, without routing
the signal directly to the outputs.

You can read that on the Parameters Guide, page 143

If he does that, then he will NOT get any of the IFX effects for that channel either. so not a great answer unfortunately

For my solution to work, a) the drum Timbre(s) need to be routed to L/R [so, as Wocongming pointed out, there would be no IFX applied to the drum timbre] and b) the effect(s) causing the ruination of the drum sound needs to be located in the MFX, rather than in TFX.

So, the question to blazerunner is, can the TFX effect be moved to the MFX instead, without unduly compromising the overall sound? If yes, then use my original suggestion of going to the IFX / Routing1 tab, and adjusting the value of the Send1(MFX1) and/or Send2(MFX2) parameter for the drum Timbre.

If the drum Timbre requires IFX in addition, then it would need to be routed through its own IFX, and the sends from that IFX chain to the MFX would then need to be set in the IFX / Insert FX tab, instead of the IFX / Routing1 tab.

If the drum Timbre is being used with DKit enabled in the IFX / Routing1 tab, then the solution becomes somewhat more complex, requiring use of the Drum Kit IFX Patch page menu.

To try an existing Combi, where the basic idea can be seen to work, try the "Keys 'n Frets" Combi. Turn off KARMA and set the Drum track running, then go to the IFX / Routing1 tab, and adjust the value of the Send2(MFX2) parameter for Timbre #8.

Any signal will be routed in TFX before L/R out. So only way to avoid the TFX is to rout the Drums post Ifx to individual 1 and 2 then mix separately.
Also to swap the TFX to MFX could be problematic because the MFX working as peripherals rack so the signal will be always 50% dry and 50% wet. Any dynamics or Eq will destroy the signal by anti-phase so the only way to use Eq, Exciter or Dynamics in a MFx could be to set the Track Bus L/R or Ifx out Bus L/R to off.
