I'd strongly suggest you check the measurements of this board. There's barely room for a sustain pedal underneath your keyboard.

Hi Chris, do you have an official Korg stand? I’m actually using a modified piano stand from my Kawai es920. (Stand was too expensive to ship, so sold piano as a portable) The unit does look fairly bulky.
Pity Korg can’t come up with some sort of adaptor for ec5, I’ve had mine for 25 years. Kept it even when I didn’t have a Korg.

Hi, The C c (Control Change midi Sysex some times stop working!
I,m sure it, will be fixad but, like to nigth, it stopped to work, Started the 1010 And worked again, With no probs.
Very strange.
Same values on 4X no issues at al.

Unfortunately there are still functions that cannot be activated with a MIDI pedal but can be assigned to a switch pedal (or EC5 if there was one)
... like VAR-UP and VAR-DOWN (and more)....
Korg have never provided MIDI implementation information (it's been over 20 years we've been asking for this!!)
I have used my FCB1010 to activate all the MIDI control options in the PA manual plus using the Expression Pedals to control different element volumes and also one one occasion, Rotary speed - all works fine - EXCEPT those functions for which Korg do not list PC/CC values...

Perhaps an expensive way to find out because Korg are not willing to provide the inexpensive MIDI Implementation Tables might be the "Electra One" using the "Advanced Preset editor" ?.....

I "guessed" the missing PC/CC values and tried many but no joy. I actually wondered if some of those unique EC5/switch settings are actually NOT MIDI but some internal signal to activate those items - as I say, like VAR-UP. If I ever get closer to buying the PA5x, I will do some deeper experimenting on this to see if I can actually get those obscure items activated via MIDI.
I have 2 EC5s now

Hi Rikki
No I'm using a Yamaha L7 stand which I kept after I sold my Tyros 5. There were two support brackets that got in the way but they were easily removable and the Pa5X fits perfectly.
Here's a photo of the stand and the Behringer FCB1010 board. As you can see, it doesn't leave much room for my sustain pedal.

To be honest, I think the board's a bit over the top so I probably won't keep it. Hopefully something smaller will come along from Korg in due course.

Hi Chris, missed the fact that you had one. They are rather bulky. I don’t think I’d even need all those pedals. My piano had a 3 piece pedal set, which I’ve replaced with 3 sustain pedals. So I ‘ve set 2 of the pedals to vari up and down, the3rd I use for sustain. Then I have an air turn pedal for songbook + for iPad. Hopefully Korg comes up with something

I have checked with a local store and it states that the FCB1010 is discontinued. But seems available from Thoman and others.
