Hi All!
I have an interesting conundrum and wonder whether this has happened to anyone else…
I have a sequence in which there is a piano/choir intro played before the sequencer is started. When the sequencer starts I have CC07 messages to bring down the volume of both sounds - piano to 40, choir to 0.
The piano is on MIDI channel 1, the choir is on MIDI channel 4. KARMA is inactive but I have thru’ on module A, MIDI channel 1, to MIDI channel 4 so that both voices play from the keyboard. Pretty standard stuff really (isn’t it?)
This is one song in a set list of about 10 songs and all the others seem to work fine.
Here’s the thing: Sometimes the volume CC’s work fine, other times they just seems to be ignored. I’ve tried various reloads from disk, selecting songs in the setlist in different orders but I can’t nail down why it doesn’t work 100% of the time.
Does anyone have any ideas before I run out of hair? - I’m sure I’m missing something really simple.
Thanks

Looks like I’m the only one. I can alleviate the problem by switching to the sequencer but that kinda defeats the point of having a setlist.
Oh well….

Might be a long shot ( I don’t use the set list mode much myself ),but try adding the song to the set list again. Also, try offsetting the volume CCs using event edit by a tick or two.

I have noticed some strange behaviour sometimes when you have a lot of different events starting at the same time.

Thanks for that SandyLee.
I’d already removed and re added the song to no avail.
I’ll investigate moving one of the CC’s (there’s only 2 of them) but I think I did that already,

Nope - moving the CC’s didn’t fix it

Gave up - too unreliable - used Karma scene switching instead.
