|
|
Korg recently released a new editor for the RK100s Mk. 2, here:
https://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/0/846/#software
I notice the DWGS multisample names are identical in both old and new editors.
But the Mk. 1 manual lists 85 multisamples and the new Mk 2 lists 121 (with many different names).
And if you listen to the DWGS multisamples on the Mk. 2, what you hear definitely matches the names in the Mk. 2 manual, not the names shown in the Mk. 2 editor.
Also strange:
They claim the new editor is only for the Mk. 2 and will not work with the Mk. 1
This is not true.
Both old and new editors work with both my RK100s Mk. 1 and my Mk. 2
In fact, apart from the renaming in the title bar, both editors seem to be identical.
I have tried the Mac and the Win version.
They are the same.
I have coded a little program that lets me select all 121 sounds in my RK100s Mk. 2. So it definitely has 121 DWGS sounds.
I think Korg just didn't think to look at the DWGS sound list.
How can I report this issue to Korg?
It should be fairly easy to fix. |

This is one of the great mysteries with Korg.. They barely answer emails, if you can get one. They also don't have a place to report bugs. |
