|
|
Does anyone know if the RH3 keybed from other keyboards, such as the D1 or the like is interchangeable with the keybed on the Kronos x88? Maybe I'm reading too much into thinking that is a possibility because I keep reading that these keyboards all have the RH3 action. I'd figure all the parts are intercheangeable and maybe even the entire slab (keybed). |

The mechanical parts of RH3 actions are very likely to be the same. The few differences that I could think of between versions of it or a RH3 action taken from one model of keyboard to another would be the contacts and the diode matrix, as the decoding of each instrument could differ. So in short, you can probably exchange keys and mechanical parts between two RH3 actions but it could be much more complicated to swap the RH3 of a given Korg model to another one. |
