It doesn't make a difference for Cubase which arranger model a style file comes from in order to edit it, and it also doesn't make a difference for the Pa700 which sequencer software was used to edit a style file.

In Korgs manual you will find a screenshot of a test file created in Steinberg Cubase. There it is also mentioned, considering analogies between actual workstations, it will not look much different in other applications like Digital Performer, Logic Pro, Pro Tools or Sonar.
*
You can export a Chord Variation as a SMF to edit it on your external sequencer or you can export the whole Style as an SMF separated by markers. The export operation will create an SMF format zero, with each chord variation including its time signature, bank select and program change and cc#11 (expression) at tick 0.
After the export the SMF is ready to be edited with sequencer software.
*
After edition it is necessary importing the SMF to a style.
Style Tracks and MIDI Channels must be matched as KORG’s standard Style format definition, else tracks and channels are ignored during import procedure.

Events that must be placed at the very beginning of each chord Variation (tick 0) automatically are transferred to header of the styles element during the import procedure (time signature, bank select, program change, cc#11).

Searching for Cubase tutorials --> https://steinberg.help/cubase-manuals/
You will find manuals for each version of Cubase Pro/Artist/Elements/AI/LE.
