|
|
I've recently acquired an X5d. I couldn't get anything from the keyboard so I checked the manual. I think the Local Control was set to Off but when I try to access it I can get to Global control 2A using the Page up/down buttons but I can't get to 2B (Local Control) using the left/right cursor buttons. I don't think they are working. I did a factory reset so I can now get sounds from the keyboard as the reset has reverted the Local Control to Local, but still don't seem to be able to get the left/right cursor buttons to work for anything. That severely restricts what I can do. |

Button problems are quite common in a synth as old as the X5d. Repeatedly pressing the buttons may help, and using a little more pressure than normal might also improve matters. If this fails, then having the buttons replaced is often the only option.
